LD Decay Plot

This scatterplot shows the relationship between CorrCoeff2 or Dprime on the y-axis and the distance between marker pairs on the x-axis in order to understand the pattern of linkage disequilibrium (LD) in the various annotation groups.

Linkage disequilibrium generally declines exponentially (approximated by the green line, above) as the distance between the markers increases. Points (circled) above and to the right of this curve show higher than expected LD.

Note: You should verify the significance of the test statistic from the Annotation Group Plots/All Markers Plots (Linkage Disequilibrium) tab in the Linkage Disequilibrium process results.
