Track Settings Files

Use this field to specify the track settings files for your gene of interest.

A track settings (.sas) files defines a display track for a set of genes to be added to JMP Genomics statistical results like plots of -log10( p-values) along chromosomes. Settings files are generated from text files downloaded from sources like the Table Browser of the UCSC Genome Browser using one of the track definition processes under the Genome Views menu. A settings file can then be selected as a track file for embellishing graphics with depictions of genes.

To Specify One or More Track Settings Files:

Specify the Folder of Track Settings Files.

All of the files in the folder are displayed in the Available Files field.

Examine the list of available files.

Highlight the desired settings file(s). To highlight multiple files at once, hold down Ctrl while left-clicking on them.

Click to add the highlighted file(s) to the Track Settings Files field, as shown below:
