Color Variable Type

Use this parameter to specify whether the variable chosen for defining label color (Color Variable) is nominal (categorical) or continuous.

Available options are described in the following table:

Option:	Select this Option when:
Nominal	The Color Variable is a character variable or numeric with few distinct levels (fewer than 10). Each value is assigned a color.
Continuous	The Color Variable is numeric continuous. A continuous color scheme is used.

To Specify the Color Variable Type:

Specify an Annotation SAS Data Set to activate the Color Variable field.

Specify a Color Variable to activate this field.

Select the Color Variable Type by clicking within the appropriate radio button.
