Other Effect Variables

Use this field if any of the data sets selected after the first uses an effect variable with another name for the Effect Estimate or Direction Variable.

The names for all of the effect variables for the 2nd through the last input data sets must be specified here.

To Specify the Other Effect Variable Names:

Type the names of the effect variables from the 2nd through the last input data sets in the text box.

Separate the variables with a space.

For example, to specify the effect variable names for an analysis of three studies where the effect variables in the first, second, and third input data sets are Effect_1, Effect_2, and Effect_3, respectively, complete the following steps:

Specify Effect_1 using the Effect Direction or Size Variable parameter on the General tab.

Type Effect_2 Effect_3 in the Other Effect Variables field, as shown below:
