Base SAS Data Set

Use this option to specify the data set whose column order is used to determine the column order of the concatenated data set.

The base data set is optional.

When a base data set is specified, the order of columns in the concatenated data set is the same as the order in the base data set. If a base data set is not specified here, then the first data set specified in the Concatenate SAS Data Sets field is assigned as the de facto base data set.

If columns found in the additional data sets are not found in the base data set, then these columns are added to the concatenated data set following the base data set columns in their same order.
