Import Interpolated Data from a PI Server

Interpolated data is optimized for aligning data from various sources where it is important that they all have a common time stamp.

Interval

Specify the sampling interval. The default interval is 1h (one hour). When the interval is set to one hour, data is interpolated to a value at the start of each hour.

Sync Time

(Optional) Specify the absolute date and time from which to calculate an even set of intervals in a periodic operation.

Sync Time Boundary Type

Select the behavior of data retrieval at the end points of the specified time range. The possible values are inside and outside. The default value is inside.

Filter

(Optional) Specify an expression to filter the data that is imported. Use OSIsoft’s filter expression syntax.

Timeout

Specifies how long the server will wait for client communication. The default setting is 60 seconds.

Click Import to start importing interpolated data from the PI Server.
