General Utilities

The general utilities include interactive processes that act on JMP tables, as well as those for clearing parameter defaults, customizing the Starter, and rebuilding dialogs.

JMP Table Utilities

These interactive utilities require that a JMP table be open and in focus. Refer to the table below for guidance.

Process	Choose this process for...
Data Filter	Selecting, hiding, or excluding subsets of data from plots and analyses
Graph Builder	Quickly building and modifying graphs of one or more variables
Create 0-1 Columns from a Class Variable	Creating new 0-1 indicator columns corresponding to each of the levels in a column
Create 0-1 Indicator for Selected Rows	Creating a new column whose value equals 1 for all rows that are selected and 0 for those that are not selected. Tip: Such columns are needed for the List Enrichment process.
Venn Diagram - Single Table	Examining and comparing up to five variables in a data set using Venn diagrams
Venn Diagram - Multiple Tables	Examining and comparing up to five tables using Venn diagrams

Other System Utilities

These utilities perform special system-wide functions in JMP Genomics.

Clear Parameter Defaults	Clearing and resetting all saved parameters from a process or workflow and all subsequent dialogs or workflows.
Customize Genomics Starter	Customizing the processes shown on the Starter window.
Register Add-ins	Installing the add-ins that are shipped with JMP Genomics.
R Package Manager	Installing and uninstalling recommended R packages.
Generate Genomics Dialogs	Generating process dialogs when writing and deploying new JMP Genomics analytical processes.
